Bold and Beautiful – Blondes of 2021

With many of you lovely clients returning to the salon with large regrowth and most likely wanting to return immediately to your beautiful blonde looks, you of course need to ensure that you (and we) do it right. Discuss with your hairstylist what you want – how blonde you want to go and whether you’re willing to change the shape of your hair. It’s all about your hair history as well, how blonde your hair looks after it’s bleached all depends on what you’ve done to your hair. If you have photos/selfies of your hair over the last few years thats always super useful, because you need to go as far back as the length of your hair (3 years if it’s passed the shoulder).

Bright Future

Summer is definuetly going to have us seeing a lot more blondes and what we call ‘mushroom blonde’, this is somewhere between bronde and grey, here lies the most obscure blonde hair trend to hit 2021. This trend is having had a massive interest from clients (you guys) who are now embracing more of their natural tones. The ashy-toned, not-quite-brown-not-quite-blonde Mushroom Blonde shade is still going strong and conveniently works on brunettes and natural blondes. There’s also an underground blonde trend rebelling against icy white that we’re sensing is going to be big as well.
However, if you still want to go icy, the great thing is you can have a lot of fun with toners. Ask your stylist about all the wicked conditioning colours we have by Davines.
It used to be about getting your hair whiter than white because it was so unattainable, but now golden shades with warmer tones is just as popular. If the passed two years have taught us anything, it’s that life is too short to give a damn what mainstream media dictates, so do whatever you damn well please with your hair!
