White flakes of dandruff?
The very common white flakey dandruff is not a cause for concern as far as your health goes and it certainly isn’t contagious. This is known as seborrheic dermatitis and can correlate with hormones, fungus, and even some neurological problems. If you do suffer from this then it can be treated the same as white flakey dandruff: with antidandruff shampoos. If you have a more persistent and serious case then an appointment with the doctor may be best.
