Ladies and gentlemen, fear not for Anne Veck’s hot hair tips are here! It is not because we are stuck at home, unable to get to the salon, that our hair must suffer. Read on to find out how you can keep your frizzy bits under control, healthy and looking beautiful, ready for the moment we re-open our doors, to come and get a cut and colour 😉
1.Over recent years, oils of all kind have become super duper popular to hydrate one’s hair. But not all oils are made equal! Davines has an amazing Almond oil, part of their Love Curls Range, full of fatty acids that penetrate inside the hair shaft and reduce protein loss from hair. You can use it either before or after you wash your hair depending on your hair type. If your hair tends to be oily, use it as a leave-in treatment overnight or for a few hours before you wash your hair. If your hair is dry, use it as a leave-in treatment after! This will improve the health and luster of your hair and have you feeling like a sexy goddess or god in no time!
2. Whilst you can’t make it to our salon for us to take care of your luscious locks for you, we do have some amazing products that will allow you to keep your hair growing gorgeous in the mean time. One of Anne’s favourite products is Davines’ MELU conditioner. Especially designed to prevent breakage, the light formula makes the hair smooth and soft without weighing it down. It reinforces your hair’s natural elasticity to allow it to grow softer, thicker and more glorious than ever.
3. Last but not least, Massaging! Totally free, although usually a tad more enjoyable if you use some sort of oil to make the hair easier to massage through, massaging is a fabulous way to stimulate hair growth, and has been shown to increase thickness of hair. It is also a fantastic way to help masseuse and massagees relax, which is something we could all use at the moment 😉
