This is the story of my 2018 collection “Precious” which grabbed a Finalist position in the world wide 2018 /19 AIPP Awards for Best Colour Collection.
Some of you may know that our lovely daughter no. 1 Chloe is a very talented jewelry designer , trading under the moniker Dirty French Girl. She designs bespoke precious metal pieces in particular for cool people with piercings. Have a look here to see what she does. Just beautiful!
Of course, the centre of the jewelry trade in London is Hatton Garden , where Chloe spends quite a lot of time and I was inspired by her new business to create a collection inspired by precious metals and stones. At first I was going to call it Hatton Garden Girls but this is really a bit unwieldy so in the end we went for “Precious”. To see the whole collection click here. Hope you like it.
It’s been published in some very prestigious magazines, including Tribu-te (UK & France), Peluquerias (Spain), Hairstyles Only (UK), Creative HEAD’s Paint (UK) and Sophisticates’ Hair Styles (USA). Which is brilliant! Thanks to our lovely PRs, Louise Wood PR for the distribution and, of course, massive thanks to the team who helped me create the looks : photographer Desmond Murray, make-up artist Morgan Defre and my uber talented hairdressing assistant Cassie Jennings, senior stylist at Anne Veck Oxford. And last but not least for their sponsorship: Revlon Professional!
